That suits a shelf where the mount is a separate purchase, and it removes the one part on this build that cannot be made without magnetising a plate. Matte grain on the smallest body in the series

Grain does the same work here as on the larger models: it gives grip where a glossy back would slide, and it swallows the fine scuffs that show first on a transparent plate. The S25’s camera column is a vertical stack of three rings, and the plate is cut to that stack with the frame offset at the edge so the shell sits flat.
