Cut for the 17 Pro, works on the 18 Pro
Apple kept the body dimensions between these two generations, so this shell is tooled to the 17 Pro and seats on the 18 Pro as well. The camera opening and the button positions are the points that were re-cut when the newer body arrived — everything else, including the surface and the colour card, is unchanged.
For a buyer, that means the cases already on your shelf when the newer model lands are not dead stock. It also means one carton label can cover both years, provided the cut is what you print on it rather than the model number.
What “Camera Stand” does not mean here
There is no folding prop on this case. The words describe the raised camera plateau moulded into the back — the ridge that lifts the lens ring off a table — so the handset still lies flat.
