Iridescent Two-Tone MagSafe Cases

The surface shifts hue as the case is turned because the coating is built in layers rather than mixed as a single pigment. From one angle the shell reads as a flat colour; from another a second tone appears across the panel. That behaviour is what sells it on a display stand, and it cannot be reproduced by tinting a single batch of material.

Underneath the decoration sits the same two-piece build used across the range: a stiff rear panel, a softer rim at the corners, and the magnet ring moulded into the back plate. Because the ring is inside the panel there is no raised edge for the coating to break over, so the shift runs unbroken across the whole surface instead of stopping at a ring outline.
