Camera Stand Cases

The folding stand on this shell traces the outline of the rear camera island instead of sitting beside it as a separate rectangle. Shut, the prop reads as part of the housing; open, it holds the handset at a viewing angle. Shell and prop come out of a single moulding, which puts the pivot inside the case and leaves nothing screwed to the outside.

Leaving the magnet out removes a layer from the back panel. The shell is thinner over the spine, the prop closes to a shallower profile, and a customer who docks the phone in a cradle rather than on a magnetic mount is not paying for a ring they will never use. The cutout work and the finish are identical to the magnetic edition.
